Nelson Brass Band Have the desire to play together to bring the enjoyment of music to the public and ensure that whilst doing this the members of the band enjoy making the music.We will wherever possible encourage the fellowship side of the band and invite anyone who wishes to play with us the chance to do so. Nelson Old Brass Band Club very kindly let us use their building and facilities and the Nelson Brass Band Wish the Band club to know they are extremely grateful to the club for their kindness in letting us use the building as it would be very difficult for the band to function in a normal way without their continued help and support...

Nelson Brass Band takes part in many concerts and contests throughout the year. This costs the band a lot of money and Nelson Brass Band are not sponsored in anyway however the local council Pendle Borough council do fund us every year and donate a sum of money which helps to cover various costs of uniforms /conductors fees / Sheet music/ music stands/ general upkeep of the instruments. Nelson Band as mentioned previously takes part in marches for local churches and fetes /galas Etc... The Band do charge fees for this service simply because we have to keep the band running every year financially which is surprisingly hard due to the mentioned above..
